‘LEAN’ APPROACH
Lean is a systematic and continuous approach to reduce or remove activities which does not add value to the process. It focuses on removing wasteful steps in any process and taking the only value-added steps, thus it promotes a continuous chain of improvements. In this way, it ensures high quality in the process and adds to customer satisfaction.
Lean will lead to:
1)reducing process cycle time,
2)improving product or service delivery time,
3)reducing or eliminating the chance of defect generation,
4)reducing the inventory levels and
5)optimizing resources for key improvements among others.
KAIZEN METHOD
Kaizen is a term in Japan which points to continuous improvement which has been a key part of personal development and business culture for decades, and it simply means ‘change for the better’.
This course offers a practical introduction to kaizen techniques and concepts and is structured to help individuals and businesses adopt kaizen tools, methodologies, and philosophies in order to boost productivity, efficiency, remove waste, with cost reduction.
INDUSTRY 4.0 EXPERIENCE COURSE
